Cleaner Production Centers on the southern shore of the Mediterranean will share a platform of information and communication

On 21st and 22nd of June The Regional Activity Centre for Cleaner Production (RAC/CP) of UNEP/MAP participated in Tunis (Tunisia) in the working meeting of Knowledge Management System (KMS) for the Arab Region. This platform is a working virtual space developed under the framework collaboration of the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) and the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO).

The platform objective is to allow different Cleaner Production Centers operating in the southern Mediterranean, including RAC/CP, to access and share relevant information resources, such as documentation, databases, case studies, funding sources, experiences, etc. The aim is to develop projects in a more coordinated and efficient way and also to disseminate better the activities and tasks done by the Centers.

It is also expected that the platform becomes a virtual space where different Centers and other agents and / or institutions involved in promoting sustainable consumption and cleaner production in the Mediterranean can meet, collaborate and work together.
